3 - Customers who have established an open account can charge with Net 30 Day terms. Charge orders can be faxed, mailed, phoned, or placed online. For more information about placing charge orders online see Online Ordering. Customers who have not established an account can order with a VISA, MASTERCARD, or DISCOVER card. An order can also be mailed in to us with a check or money order.

TAXES:

In CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MO, NC, NJ, PA, SD, and TX, we collect sales taxes. If you are in any of these states and you are tax exempt, you must have a copy of the exemption faxed or mailed along with your first order.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES:

You will be billed ACTUAL shipping charges. It is hard to ESTIMATE but add an ESTIMATED 15% (25% for Hawaii and Alaska). Orders with heavy items like glue, paint, paper or clay will cost more as a percentage to ship than orders with light items like teaching aids. Actual freight charges depend on your distance from our warehouse, the size and dollar volume of your order and weight of merchandise ordered. Larger items must go by truck and are denoted with the symbol "t" in the catalog or by a Truck Shipment image on the product view page of our website. Truck companies have a minimum charge for 125 pounds (about $80.00). If your order has such items, it is most economical to order at least 125 pounds of merchandise at one time, shipped to one location. To help you plan your order, we have listed item weights on pieces requiring truck shipment. While U.P.S. will usually make deliveries inside a door of your building, truck companies will only make inside delivery upon request by us and the truck companies will charge a minimum of $50.00 extra for this service. If you need inside delivery on truck shipments, please mark your order accordingly. Contact us for oversize shipping costs.

**FREE FREIGHT** If your order totals $750.00 or more of items from the CONSTRUCTIVE PLAYTHINGS School Division (EXCLUDING items marked "F.O.B. FACTORY" or "Drop Shipped") and is shipped to a single location, we will ship FREE in the Continental United States. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada are excluded. The "F.O.B. Factory" items are marked with an asterisk (*) or identified in the description as F.O.B. and are primarily large playground items and a few furniture pieces. Drop Shipped items will be identified in your shopping cart with "Drop Shipped" under the Stock Status Column. All F.O.B factory items are Drop Shipped and are excluded from the free freight offer. **Extra FREIGHT Charges** "Free Freight" is for ground service United Parcel Service or "curbside" truck delivery. If you will need help unloading the truck, we can specify to the freight line your shipment be "Inside Delivery". "Inside Delivery" means the freight line will take the merchandise off the truck and set it inside your front door. The charge for this is $50.00; this is an extra charge that is not covered by the "free freight" policy. In some cases, if you do not have a raised loading dock and there is a single crate or item that is bulky or heavy, a "lift gate" truck is required. A "lift gate" is a mechanical attachment on the back of the truck to lower boxes to ground level. This is needed primarily on lofts, some large playground pieces and a few pieces of large furniture. The charge for this is $150.00; this is an extra charge that is not covered by the "free freight" policy. Orders requiring either "Inside Delivery" or a "Lift Gate" must be phoned in as they require special processing. These orders can not be placed online. Constructive Playthings® guarantees every item. If we are able to provide items of better quality or design than those shown, we reserve the right to ship those improved products. Any merchandise that does not meet with your approval may be returned UNUSED for refund or exchange. To return small items, please pack them carefully and return them by U.P.S. or insured Parcel Post. Enclose a note in the package identifying our order number and your request (refund or exchange). To return items requiring a truck shipment, write us and we will send shipping instructions. If an item is defective or damaged in shipment, please write us first for instructions, DO NOT return it. F.O.B. Playground and furniture items will have a restocking charge.
